Sony Xperia Z3 Teardown

Many smart phones are coming onto the market. Recently, SONY's next-generation flagship Xperia series Z3 are also available for sale, Sony Z3 still uses the integrated design of the fuselage, but the frame become more sleek design, feel more comfortable, and the dust cover of the card slot is also adapted the curved lines of the design, it is completely different from the border line styles.

Ewisetech recently got the Xperia Z3, and tear down it.

First, open the back case. For its integrated and IP68 waterproof and dustproof design, the back cover excellent performance in sealing capacity. Based upon past experience to Z1, Z2, you can open the back cover by warming it gently.

Disconnect the battery from the motherboard connector, and remove the battery. The capacity of Z3 battery is 3100mAh, lower than Z2. Z3 set a plastic brace that you can easy remove the battery when repairing.

 

Then focus on removing the motherboard.

The home button looks more small and stylish than Z2.

Take off the main antenna module bottom of the mobile phone, which is fixed by two screws to the middle frame.

You can find a white plastic outside the jack module

Two plastic strips are used to reinforce the side button flex cable.

Z3 touch screen, LCD display flex cable was fixed by the metal sheet.
